As fans celebrate James Bond Day, Prime Video has decided to drop a teaser trailer for the highly anticipated new UK Original adventure game show series called 007: Road to a Million, revealing the first look at Brian Cox as “The Controller.”
The upcoming action series will follow nine pairs of everyday people as they are challenged to take on an epic global adventure through a series of Bond-inspired challenges for a shot at each winning a life-changing £1,000,000 prize.
From Succession’s power-hungry Logan Roy to James Bond’s latest supervillain Brian holds the fate of the contestants in his hands and is the only thing, apart from fear, standing in the way of the couples getting their hands on the £1,000,000.
Speaking in the action-packed first look into the series, the 77-year-old HBO star reveals: “I put real people into a James Bond adventure to win £1 million,” as the franchise’s iconic theme song plays.
“The only thing standing in their way is me,” he dramatically adds.

The trailer teases a handful of some of the nail-biting challenges the contestants are put through.
Contestants will be faced with tasks like climbing a crane, balancing on top of a moving train and driving an Aston Martin down winding hills.
The Controller is also revealed to be the “on-screen mastermind behind the game, who dictates where the pairs go, what they must do, and sets their questions.
“He monitors each pair’s quest, delighting in the unfolding drama of his intricately devised and often relentless challenge,” according to the show’s plot description.

As infamous The Controller, Brian has hidden 10 questions around the world for each pair of contestants.
The answer to each question is only found upon the completion of Bond-style challenges that will put to test their physical and mental strength.
If answered correctly, the pair keeps the cash and continues to the next task.
However, one wrong move and their adventure is over – pretty much as if they were real-life undercover spies.
007: Road to a Million will launch on Prime Video on November 10, 2023 in the UK.
