MAFS Jordan Gayle breaks silence on new fight with Luke Worley and reveals eye injury

Married At First Sight star Jordan Gayle has broken his silence on his most recent bust up with co-star Luke Worley, claiming that he "could have been blinded".

Jordan and Luke fell out during the E4 dating series and when things turned physical between them, Luke was booted from the show – although he has since claimed that the incident was set up by producers.

The reality TV stars have arranged to fight each other in a boxing match on 9 February next year, but Jordan says Luke got in an early jab at a PrettyLittleThing celebrity party on Wednesday night, 13 December, where many of the MAFS stars were guests.

Jordan, who was there with girlfriend Erica Roberts, claims Luke poked him in the eye and told The Sun: "He's a dirty fighter – all it takes is for him to get the retina and he could have blinded me."

Luke had already made his own claims about what happened at the party in a furious video he recorded on a train on the way home from the event, where he said: "Everyone watching this video, search up now traits of a psychopath. Jordan is a psychopath. Jordan is not mentally stable to be having a fight.

"He's like a psychopath, I'm telling you now, and for Jordan to even be entertaining any boxing, any fighting, any sort of aggression, goes against what he 'believes in'.

"Trust me. At an exclusive event and you chuck at me and then trying to slap me around the face?"

But Jordan claimed to have no memory of slapping Luke and said that he had thrown a drink in reaction to Luke "reaching over and poking him in the eye", adding that he acted "on instinct".

Jordan said: "He scratched my eye, I don't know what he tried to do but he scratched my eyeball," and said that he was left with blurry vision and unable to see for a few seconds.

He also showed that his left eye was bloodshot after the altercation and said that he thought Luke wanted to continue the fight, but that security had stepped in to separate them.

Explaining his side of what happened, Jordan claimed that Luke had repeatedly called him "a p***y" and that things had turned violent when their MAFS castmates asked what they should cheers to and Jordan suggested they should drink to him beating Luke in their February boxing match.

He also shrugged off Luke's video talking about the fight, saying: "The guy is filming himself drunk on the way home screaming at his phone, calling some a psychopath, he's probably shown more traits of someone being a psychopath than I have on MAFS. He's getting more and more ridiculous and more and more embarrassing."

Jordan said that he was confident of winning the charity boxing match and said that rather than pressing charges, he wanted to "punish" Luke for disrespecting him and Erica by beating him in the ring.

OK! has contacted Luke's representatives for comment.
