ITV Im A Celeb host Declan Donnelly is all smiles after long-haul flight from Australia with baby son

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here host Declan Donnelly has been pictured full of smiles with his young son after their long-haul flight back from Australia following the end of the series.

Dec can be seen beaming as he pushes his son Jack, one, through Heathrow Airport on Wednesday, 13 December.

The Geordie TV star looked relaxed and comfortable dressed in a black tracksuit, with a white t-shirt, and white trainers.

To finish off the casual look, the 48 year old wore a green baseball cap, while Jack was sitting in his stroller wearing a blue tracksuit.

Dec’s arrival back in the United Kingdom comes just days after the show's live final on Sunday, 10 December, where Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson became King of the Jungle.

As part of the final, the three finalists, Sam, boxer Tony Bellew and former politician Nigel Farage, faced their final bushtucker trial of the series, and they were the worst ones yet.

Tony went first, and he faced being covered in a number of creatures, and jungle horrors, including mealworms and fish guts.

However, as Tony lay on the floor, Sam and Nigel along with hosts Ant and Dec, laughed at him.

That left the viewers at home making one demand online, and that is for the duo to take on a bushtucker trial after hosting the programme for over two decades.

On X, formally known as Twitter, one person wrote: “Ant and Dec need to actually go into the jungle next time, it's been a long time coming.”

While someone else wrote: “If Ant & Dec aren’t contestants in the final ever series of @imacelebrity, I’m not watching. It’s got to be done.”

Another viewer penned: “I genuinely want to see Ant and Dec put themselves in the jungle lmao.”

This year's series has gripped the nation, with 12 celebrities bringing huge entertainment to their screens every evening for three weeks.

One celebrity who won the hearts of the nation was eventual winner Sam, 31, and since leaving the camp, he has revealed that winning the show was a “dream come true” for him.

He got his phone back as he arrived at the airport to jet back home, and he instantly thanked his fans from the “bottom” of his heart.

Sam told his fans: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart, there aren’t quite the words to describe how grateful I am for each and everyone of you who supported me during my time in the jungle. You made a young boy's dream (now slightly older) [laughing emoji] come true, and I will never ever forget that.”

As the post continued, Sam explained that he didn’t know what to expect when he entered the camp, but he loved every minute of it.
